7.5 to mid travel?

  1. sell the fabtech 7.5 kit and buy the cst mid travel kit

    55.6%
  2. keep the fabtech 7.5 and save to buy a full LT kit

    33.3%
  3. idk what mid/long travel suspension is and im stupid.

    11.1%

ok so I am in contact with a guy who has a CST mid travel kit (has about 11in of travel in the front) and deaver leafs in the rear (up to 21in of travel) for my truck, everything is included, I would get about 6in of lift out of it...

price: $1600 for everything including shipping from cali
so my decision I need to make is:

    1. sell my 7.5in lift (Ican get about 1k out of the entire thing) and buy the cst kit (I want to get more into the long travel crowd and this might be my foot in the door.)

    or

    2. keep the 7.5 and run it till I can afford to get a full LT kit and go all out

what do yall think? Im planning on putting on my traction bars on tonight..so if I can figure it out before then so I know wether I need to drill holes in my frame or not...

Dude your all over the place haha. If you can sell the fabtech for 1k then get the cst kit. You won't have any more money in it. And then you can sell the traction bars if you'd like. Then enjoy mid travel because 11 inches of travel is a good amount and save up for a full long travel kit. Just my opinion

Haha ya I saw you posted big suspension decision so I had to pop in, figured it would have to be some prerunner business. I would sell the traction bars because I doubt they are set up for 21" of rear travel. More money in your pocket. Also, I don't know how available glass fenders are around you but I would look into some. So I guess this just means more money but I would still go for it

Just get some 4" flare if you go with glass. 6" increases the width too much for a DD IMHO. I've heard Deavers are enough to stop wheel hop/axle wrap but if not most prerunner guys just go with an axle wrap bar setup, which is kinda like a traction bar but with a shackle on the front so the motion of the bar will replicate the leaf springs and not bind
