I just got mine last night and this morning I'm tuning the screw. I want to know what I need to change for MPG, Towing, and Performance. I am only gonna run it on 87 octane for now but I want to see what everyone else has done and have seen great improvements in MPG, Towing, and Performance on 87.

as the title says I have the SCT X3 tuner and I can change fuel, spark, axle, maf, tire size, injector size, fan on/off temp (low speed driving and high speed), shifting (firmness and early n late), speed limit, n rpm. (not sure if i forgot anything)

Just let me know what to change and what its for (towing, mpg, performance)

Alright to be smart about this....unless you know what your doing, you don't need to be messing with custom tuning yourself. You just need to call SCT back up and order a custom tune and let them do it for you. I run 87 octane on my custome tune and trucks great. I do believe TLS and akcowboy and I think zuk run a 93 performance. Actually will runs 91 octane cause they don't have 93. Its really just owners preference.

Best bet is to leave it to the pros.. contact Mike on here (5star tuning) and get you some custom tunes.. I have a 87 tow tune 93 economy and 93 performance from him and they all work great..

With the 93 economy I went from 13-14mpg to 16-17mpg on the highway...

When you call Mike make sure you have the serial number from the x3, the code on your computer (up under dash on passenger side... It'll be like a 3 or 4 digit code..), your rear end gearing, tire size, and any performance mods on the truck

Contact Mike and let him do it. My Edge runs way better with Custom tunes than when I was messing with it myself.

All I did was up the speed limiter, rpm limiter, and firm up the shifts. You start messing with timing and spark advance and you'll screw the motor.
