Why do you think that friend didnt make the custom tunes for this truck? And my friend that sold me the sct recommended vmp and 5star. Vmp did all of his tunes for his 08 stang gt so I went with them due to the delay at 5star. I'm not talking bad about 5star because I would really like a 93 octane tune from 5star in the future. But seeing to how much better my truck runs with the 87 octane performance tune from Vmp I would recommend them. It is a hell of a lot better than my friends tune on my old 98.
I never saw no mention of your friend giving this to you until now....I was under the impression you went and bought this tuner from 5star and turned around and went to another company to get your tunes. Like I was pointing out...I was getting at that if you bought the actual tuner from 5star and tunred around to get tunes at another company....if something went wrong with your truck then both companies would blame each other and leave you and your truck in the dead zone.
I could tell by talking to him on the phone. I called to make sure he got my order cause my connection timed out
Yeah, he did the tunes for my 2000 mustang, it was awesome. I'm going to get him to do my tunes for the f150 once i get the money to get them. How much did the tunes run you from him?
