well my little bro's taurus is having some issues, the oil light come on yesterday and there is a chattering, rattle sound coming from the engine, we believe its the oil pump, so my dads pretty much calling the car "done", is there any sort of "magic" chemical you can pour in it like the blue devil stuff for head gaskets?

Nope. No oil pressure means you can pour whatever you want in there but the pump isn't going to circulate it

you could atleast make the effort to check the screen...if thats all it is you can clean it and sell it for more $$ than if its rattling and shyytt
