    it probally mounts differently and isnt the ranger skinnier than an f-150

    i mean that is the one difference i could think of and thats it and like i said maybe it mounts different

    Ya but it says the FX4 bumper for the F150 is cosmetically different then the regular XLT/Lariat/Standard 99-03 Bumper for the F150.

    maybe they are made of metal instead of plastic

    you sure about that, i know for chevy and gmc their front bumpers are made out of plastic, if i remember correctly
