Random Pics of Mustangs and other Killer Fords

Yup, Ford owned several different companies up till a few years ago. Jaguar and Land Rover were sold to a company named TaTa Motors. They sold Mazda off too, not sure how that went down, but them and Mazda are no longer tied together.

If you look at certain Jaguars from the mid 90's up till recently, they almost look like a Taurus.

 

On a side note, Ford at one time owned, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, Aston Martin, Volvo. For what it's worth, Jaguar, Land Rover and Aston Martin were all part of a single group named PAG. So they were sort of a package deal. Ford owned Mazda for years. And Mazda honestly brought something to the table unlike the PAG group and Volvo. Mazda helped Ford greatly when it came to smaller motors. Most of Ford's 4 cylinders were designeed with help from Mazda which had been doing it far longer then Ford. My wife and I owned a 92 Escort GT we bought new back in the day. The motor was completely Mazda. The only difference was the Ford logo and the title DOHC on the valve cover.

 

Our Escort GT was a 1.8 DOHC 5 speed, and it would fuggun scoot. I had that car up to 135 like it was nothing. I ain't kidding, that little bastard would move.

On a side note, I had my wife's old 07 Accord V6 up to 145 on 75 south. It would move too.

 

I let off, it was a narrow ass country road at night and there was a car coming at me. I thought for sure it was state patrol.
