    cut the axle housing no problem there. It's the axle shafts you may have a problem finding depends on what size you need. if your going SAS

    I looked up 4.30 reverse cut. GM has an 8.25" IFS and yota has an 8" that will house the 4.30

    Honestly I would trade the truck for a 4x4. It's so easy and you can get a newer truck. Problem solved. And prolly less time and money spent. I like your enthusiasm towards
    Modding but man you got some 1960's acid trip ideas:hmm:

    I too would just save your money. You talk about wanting a sd so put your energy towards that instead.
