bought a remote start for my girlfriend for christmas. im pretty confident that i can tackle this without needing to take it to a dealer. i do have a question or two though. maybe some of you guys can help me out. First off this is going into a 2002 Mustang GT with an A/T. i have wiring diagrams for everything i need but im a little confused on the neutral safety switch part. im reading the manual and its telling me too splice this toggle switch that is supplied with the system at the neutral safety switch (Park neutral selector) and then splice one end of the toggle switch wire to the H2 5 pin connector harness. ( (-) neutral safety input) all i have to do its splice the toggle switch AFTER the park neutral selector ( which is a white/ pink wire) this will tell the system that the vehicle is in park/neutral allowing it to proceed with the starting process correct? Then the + output to the starter would have to spliced into the RED LT/BLU wire right? heres the diagram. SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS - 2002 Ford Mustang GT
yea i hope so lol. im thinking im right but ive been going over this and i think im starting to second guess myself on some stuff. would be so much easier if i had the damn car infront of me.
