i think the charging issue is only at idle. i know when i did mine on the mustang the lights were real dim at idle. i never had any other trouble out of them.

^^ I want to say it's only a problem at idle. I can't remember exactly, but I remember reading that somewhere.

I've only ever heard of a problem when idling for long periods of time. Let me know how it goes!

some people have problems with the idle thing..... you can have the altenator set up for the undrive kit... or you can change the alt pulley... i dont know how to do it on these newer vehicals...

If you are doing all this, i'm sure you have a tuner as well. you need to adjust your idle RPM's a bit higher due to the underdrive kit. This will fix all problems at idle.

You can get a higher output alternator (something I plan to do anyway) and/or swap the pulley on the alternator. Increase the idle speed with a tuner would also work. Under drives are great though and will reduce the load your accessories put on the engine by a lot.

I was wondering if the tuner trick would of done it. I think next summer that's going to be one of my projects is the efan and underdrive pulleys.

I'm interested in these as well. I thought about getting them a while back but I wasn't sure how much power gain they give. It would have to be a noticeable amount before I put that much money in 2 them. Let us know how it turns out man.

Under-drive pulleys are not meant to give you power. It is meant to free up power cause of the parasitic power loss from your stock pulleys in running your alternator, power steering components.Would you notice a difference without doing anything else say like e-fans,cai,no you would not.
