I wash my truck 4-5x a year and that's only between May and September

 

That's just wrong in my book. I try to wax mine that many time

 

I bedlined my chrome bumpers and rockers a year ago. The rockers are holding up great, rear bumper is pretty good, but the front bumper needs touched up again. All those rocks and shat on our roads chip it off pretty easily.

What you need to do is bedline it, then get a can of white paint and paint the bedliner. Someone did that here and it looked sweet.

yeah, but for 9 months outta the year our temps are below freezing

I usually wax it every time I wash it too
