Well I saw a 250 on Craigslist and decided to text him and see about trading and some details about the truck. His description is pretty vague. Some details I got out of him. The truck is completely stock other than tires and wheels ( no programmer or exhaust or anything). He told me it is a 7.3 and it has had new rear end sway bar links water pump reman turbo just maintenance stuff basically. I asked if it had any tranny work and he said no but the tranny is strong with 0 slip. 244,000 miles. I dont like the rims and tires and neither does he lol.

Nice looken truck. I say go for it if you can get a good deal. Just be prepared to put down the cash for gas. As for the tranny, ours has over 300k i dont remember the exact number and still works great. So i guess thats just a hit and miss on that.

Well cost 80$ to fill up the f250 the other day. But that was filling her up to the brim.

yeah, id look out for the tranny on that one. theres a lot of little things that start going bad, but thats expected on a high mileage vehicle, just costs more because its a big ol diesel. the wheels are hideous, but you already know that ha ha. but with the proper checkup, fixits, and preventative maintenance theres nothing stopping it from running another 100k without a new motor or a rebuild.

you will be thoroughly disappointed my friend. 12 stock on a good day. but with good mods and a nice tuner you will be seeing 17-20 easy. i dropped a 125 bucks in the tank the other day filling only to a 3 quarters of a tank.

240k on a 7.3 could make a reliable driver, just sucks not knowing the driving, and maintenance history its a throw of the dice.
