has anyone seen or added SD tow mirrors to there expi? my wife has a 04 expi and i was thinking about throwing on a set of SD tow mirrors. or does anyone has pics of any with them??
Check to see if the bases are the same. Maybe some F150 tow...cuz they expy is F150 based. I know you can swap over navigator mirrors...
Right on thanks a lot. My wife has the expi and I hate driving it cuz it feels like I can't see **** outta her mirrors so it was just something I was thinking about. I also like the look of tow mirrors better
it looks like the mirror base (the black part exposed) is similarly shaped to the 97-03 F150's. my mirror base on my 06 seems to be a bit of a larger triangle. its similar to supercrew doors and then reg cab doors. the SCrew mirror bases are just a bit larger than the RAB/SCab.
as far as i know there arent any tow mirrors that fit the expy, I just checked out a couple RV forums and most people who tow with their expys had to get the kind that strap on (tee hee) because there arent any replacement tow mirrors. the f150 mirrors do not fit.
I'd imagine the reason is from their not being any tow mirrors for the Screws. The Expy doors are the same length as the screws, so the could be the reason.
