I have bushwhacked pocket flares. They appear to be bolted on but are not. They make them eather way. They came on my truck and I love them! I will have them from now on! Mine have been rhino lined though.

Never heard of prestige fender Flaires But get on google and search for "prestige fender Flaire review" and that should get you some more info on them.

    Thanks Tyler.

J.wal i do agree with you. not ALL cops are the same maybe im speaking from personal experiences with multiple cops. i agree with if you know youre doing something illegal youre just asking for a ticket, i understand that completely but i guess im just looking at how many times i pass police or police pass me when someone doesnt signal right or doesnt stop at a stop sign or has a missing head light or speeding, ect. i know there are good police out there but i do know for a fact alot of them are jokes. (again personal experiences, one in particular)

"Ignorance of the law is not a way around it and if you know you are doing it than you can't be mad that they are doing there job correctly."

i agree with that completely. maybe im just thinking some things are worht pulling someone over than others.

i got pulled over for having too many lights on at one time, cop was a jerk but i looked him in the eyes and appologized to him after court (long story) i got a ticket for it, nothing i could do about it really. i jsut found it funny the judge couldnt even find the law in the law book or recite it to me. i could not find it either even AFTER the cop told me i could read the law on a website he wrote on my ticket. i had too many lights, and thats that.

yeah it's a hazard to oncoming drivers. i've seen people driving around with headlights, fog lights and 4 offroad lights on

iirc Texas law is you can't have no more than 2 headlights, 2 fog lights and 2 auxillary lights on while driving

Pity, I stated, one officer can not speak for all, so this is me speaking for myself.

I policed a small city where minor infractions were all we had to do, now I work a city where I could sit at one spot and be busy all night. It all comes down to the officers way of policing and officer discretion. Attitude goes along way with me. I approach everyone with as much courtesy and respect as they let me. Ya, I have had some bad days where I was in a bad mood and on those days I don't try to mess with people. There are officers that have power trips, think the badge means they can do anything. I will be the first to admitt that, but that does not mean all are this way. Some don't know the laws fully, or do not apply them right. I do not know the details of the incident you had, your local / state laws, but I know here in tn there are laws that would apply to too many lights on the front of your vehicle. Personally, I don't know them off the top of my head and wouldnt wright a cite for that unless the person doing it had a attitude toward me or said the law wasn't there. I would find it, wright them, and both myself and them would be educated. Lol. If there ain't a law that right out says " no more than x# of lights, I am sure there is a blanket type law that states all lights must be DOT approved and/ or an law that would cover it under causing unsafe roadway conditions to other drivers.

To the O/P, I think if you used automotive paint that was the same code as your truck it would look fine.
