    This is awesome and shows the longevity of the Ford product....he didn't have to change the tranny till 1 Million miles :rofl:

    No not at all....and he went once with out changing his oil for 50k! That shows you all this 3k between oil changes is BS.

    I do feel the truck is sluggo around 6k+ of oil in her. 50k would scare me lol.

    Pretty interesting indeed.

    I've known the 3k oil change chit is a lie for years. My wife and I bought a new 1992 Escort GT back in 92 and there was times where I didn't change her oil for like 20k. We traded that car in 1999 with it having over 185k on it and it still ran like a car with 20k on it. Still had the same amount of power and torque it always had. People can say what they want to about Escorts, but that GT we owned was a hell of a car.
