thanks man. i was reading online about this and someone had the same problem. they lived next to an airport. they said they were getting some frequency from them and it was causing the car to start. i live near a train yard. maybe its the same thing. i actually just remembered i dont have a python, its an autostart. i think its a brand thats compared to python. yea i cant remember who it was.
alright dudes i figured it out. i figured i would just call the place that installed mine 4 years ago. the guy told me the unit has a cold weather mode. i must have ghit the AS button on the remote (which i did when i was admiring my new 10mm LED bolts i installed lastnight) hold it down for a few seconds and the lgiht will flash. after this is done the truck will start 2 hours later and continue every 2 hours until you put the key in the ignition Preston thanks for looking out for me bud. if this isnt the problem its probably a bad unit.
damn! thats cool! real handy for those folks up north that don't have an engine block heater available. glad you got it pegged.
I live in Georgia it don't get that cold here. Maybe that's why I don't care for em. I do wanna hook air horns to my alarm though. Sent from my iFord f150
the guy told me it would start 2 hours after you hit the button and run for only 3 minutes then shut off and then start again 2 more hours later.
