Well lets see... Knock off Nike's, Knock off designer purses by the ship loads, knock off Oakley shades...nah, it's safe to say they can't. If you look at the knock off F150 you see the heads look identical to the F150's. Makes me wonder if they're the company making all the heads on eBay.
That's what happens when companies send production to China where there are virtually no patent laws and the ones that are there are not enforced. They start to see their product being sold out of Won Hunglo's garage within 6 months and the copy is usually made either in the same factory or the one right next door.
Of course the Chinese courts aren't going to enforce the patent law violations, they are on the take benefiting economically.
Supposedly within 3 years there will be no cost benefit to manufacturing in China so hopefully some of this type of thing will go away. Pump up an economy while ruining your own and then let them suffer under the weight of their own success. It's the American way. It's looking like Africa is going to be the next third world economy to reap our manufacturing benefits.
