:welcome: Make up an intro thread so we can all get to know you better!

You don't need a level kit until you start running tires larger than 295/70R17s (33s)
Look into Hell Bent Steel for a 2.5" kit. Stay away from the 3" kits

More of newer f150 guys will have to chime in on this, i have a 1.5'' daystar level spacer it is rubber, but there has been no sagging problems or anything like that. Granted my truck is a 97 and yours is an 05.

A regular kit runs $70 and a billet kit is $80, plus shipping. Link in my first post
Another option is to get some Bilstien 5100 shocks, they'll give you a lift and a better ride, but run about $100/each.

A 3" kit stress your balljoints and wears them out faster.

I put on a 2" Autospring and got 2 1/2" of lift out of it. Very nice kit for the money.

Like AK said, anything over 2 1/2" is going to change your front end geometry too much and wear out parts quickly.

I had the hell bent steel kit, 2.5". Easy to install, just half to get a alignment after.

Happy when I had my 2.5 AutoSpring kit. Paid a little more for the powder coat option ($95 at the time), but when I took it off 2 yrs later, it was still in great condition.

Can't say the same for my 6" ProComp 2 yrs later :( I don't understand how power coat can "peel" off the metal.
