Torque Spec?

    Anyone know the torque spec on rear end components? Im tackling my rear end today and i just wanna make sure when i put it back together it will stay together.

    Rogers, I think he's got the 8.8 rear but i can't remember torque specs off the top of my head

    yeah its the 8.8 rear. im looking for the specs on the prinion nut and the 4 bolts holding the carrier in place.

    i have some torque specs for the 8.8 but im not sure its what youre looking for. the wording is different.

    i have a torque spec for the pinion shaft lock bolt (22FT/LBs) im still looking for something that holds the carrier in place

    i need the torques spec for the nut on the pinion flange behind the driveshaft.

    alright let me see if i can find it. my stuff is worded differently and theres alot of info to go through lol.

    Driveshaft to Pinion Flange bolt- 70-95 FT/LBs

    ondeman5.com (mitchell) its an automotive diagnosis/repair site with diagrams and specs and other things you wouldnt think of lol. you normally have pay for it but i get it free from my school for the Automotive program.
