Im not seeing a stabilizing shock in the ad. You seen that too didnt you? Far as mounting it i think a bracket goes on the axle and one on the steering linkage w/shock connecting them. but dont hold me to that its been a while since i seen one

You should get some L heads with your tax money! Then your truck would be perfect!

i did a little research on it and i found the shock. i was just curious how it mounts.

you have to take the bolts out of the idler arm, put a big bracket over the idler arm, install new bolts through bracket and idler arm and then you install a U bolt to the center link, tighten and install the steering stabilizer. (RS5401)

    heres the run through.

just wondering if there would be a noticable improvement with this when hitting bumper and turning.

I think with big tires it helps out some on the getting jerked around when you hit bumps. kinda keeps it from jerking the wheel out of your hand. Thats what I've believed for many years. Even had a few but its been too long for me to remember how much it helped

yea it would help with the wheel getting thrown for sure. i know the F250s and Excursions come stock with dampers.
