Alright guys im currently saving to do some stuff to my truck that is totally going to change the look of it. But i was thinking about a roof rack (like off road light rack deals) but i started thinking that it would look really funky on my truck since i have such a short roof. But i would really like to get some lights up there. I've never welded and dont have the tools around me to do it, and i think even if i built one or got someone to build one for me a small rack just wouldnt look right. So i was thinking a roll bar, i know some of them are ugly as all get out, but i believe some of them look good if you do it right and pick the right one. And if you guys could find some pictures it would be great. (Of roof racks on a rab or roll bar.) And the tailgate will be coming off and one of those spare tires holders is going on. Thanks for any help and or opinions.
If you're going to do the roll bar deal. Do this: Otherwise i would do the tire gate, with a prerunner bar up front. And not worry about roof lights. And if you're really in for a roof rack, extend a few foot off the front of the tire/rollbar deal on that raptor over the cab.
^^ or something simple like this. i plan on fabbing one up after i lift. they just don't look right on non lifted trucks imo. but yours is lol
Wow i didnt even thnk about a light bar. There is one i like but ive never been able to find where to buy it. I would like one, i plan on removing the valance but i dont want to have to remove the bumper. First one is a GoRhino sport bar iirc. I looked into them too, but they dont make one for stepsides. As for the second prerunner bar, i tihnk its the same as the first one, they just have the lower valance gone from the bumper of a 99+
