Haha! well at least it fixed itself! I just had a friend of mine that is a techician ride with me and he thinks it is a hub. Because the sound is coming from the right side and stuff. So he gave me a good price on one so i'm gonna do that this friday and go from there. But besides that, is there anyway that i can confrim that it could be a cat? I have no engine light on either by the way.

Not sure, I replaced my driver's side cats when they went out, but the passenger side has never been replaced they just rattle from time to time. It seems worse when it's hot outside for whatever reason. When my driver's side cats went bad there was no code or anything. That rattle becomes a complete loud mess when they go. It's freaking LOUD and obnoxious when they do finally go out.

My SCab has a bad rattle, and should be the cats. My 4x4 just had a wheel hub/bearing go on it. And the two sound completely different. I couldnt hear the hub until it warmed up real good, or i turned to the right. Especially in reverse.

That's your rods getting ready to launch through your hood.

oh ok, I gotcha. Mine arent too terribly loud and only rattle at random times. Like it won't make a sound until I get up to around 45-50mph and it shifts into overdrive, it'll start doing it around then.

Hmm, did you notice anything in the process of your hub going out?

I noticed it one day backing into my drive way. And then a few days later i ran out to get pizza, and thought my front end was gonna fall off after she got all warmed up. As for anything before that, nothing i could tell. I guess the MT's and loud music may have masked some of it.

It's not too loud it sounds like spark knock but it's not. I been told exhaust mani gaskets, pcv valve, injectors etc. but it does it 2500+ rpms. My 98 had the same sound never had a rod problem.
