Well recently ive decided to drag race my car. I have huge plans for it under the hood. The only thing i have done to it so far is a Cold Air Intake and a SCT tuner. I bought a new set of wheels and drag tires and i think it looks much better! I havent had it on the track but one weekend so far due to this CRAZY Tennessee weather, the 2 passes i made ( keep in mind this was my first time ever on the track) were 8.74 and 8.76 at 84 MPH in 1/8 of a mile. Not to bad for my first time, main problem .. i was spinning half way down the track and i have drag tires now!
pretty blonde doing a burnout in a 5.0. can you say american dream?? haha the car looks sick! ever think about rims?
Thanks! LoL .. I just bought the ones on it in the picture, i took the 20's off of it. These are 18's i really wanted 19's but they didnt make 19's in these. When its not at the track the 20's will go back on so i dont waste the tires just driving around town!
if you wanna be able to hook it up to the track, focus on the suspension first. After awhile im sure youll add more power, but for now, you can shave a ton of time off just by setting up the proper suspension. I had a buddy with a Fox 5.0 and all he did was intake and full exhaust, but then he fully redid his suspension and was beating cars in the 1/4 that were making over 100 more HP than he was.
Looks good! But i think something along these for "drag tires" wouldve benefited you in the long run ^^
she would still have the same problem though. screw it, doing a burnout through the entire 1/8th would be hotness anyway
