Water leak need help

    My truck has a water leak it drips from the tranny it's most wet around where my starter is. Please help me cause I don't know where it's coming from.

    Sounds like you've either blown a head gasket or it could be something as simple as a hose leak somewhere up above that's just dripping onto that area. Shouldn't be any coolant lines that far back except overhead heater hoses.

    Well we found a hose that comes from the heater core and goes behind the rear coil and it's above the starter just about. I'm gonna get my buddy to check it soon and confirm it.

    I figured it was one of the two. :jester:

    Glad it appears to be the simple/cheap one (unless the braze at your heater core has busted, which is gonna be a pia to fix).

    I did a pressure test and it's not losing pressure I'll try to get a pic of what I'm talking about before lunch is over

    Sounds like either an intake gasket or cracked intake.
