oil changes

    I have mine changed every 5k at the dealership. They change it for less than $5 more than I could do it myself, cheaper than a Walmart change. That's a no brainer for me since I can drop it off on the way in to work, pick it up on the way home and don't have to deal with the mess or used oil.

    Every 3k is a complete waste of oil. 5-7k on conventional oil and 10-15k on synthetic oil. I like to change just the filter half way threw the 15k intervals just to keep a filter clean.

    This is win...

    Especially if you run a full synthetic. I do mine about every 10k

    I like 3k cause it don't even give the oil time to break down :poker:

    Fugging oil companies love people like you. :jester:

    Even when I ran conventional oil I went 5K between changes. Anything less is really a waste of oil and money. This isn't the 70's anymore dude...

    Well this is what I'm wanting to hear. I can easily run 4-5k with my old set up now.

    That's fine, just stay away from Fram and their shatty filters. Use a Motorcraft filter if you're changing every 4-5K. :waytogo:
