I went with 265's because my V6 was a complete dog with those 285's. I know its a truck and it doesn't get good gas mileage or is even remotely fast but going down to 265s definitely improved my throttle response and overall drivability.

As for the DC's with the Gunner 5's I'm in the process of getting them cleaned up and putting them on Craiglist.

 

you could always regear to get the throttle response back with bigger tires

 

or a tune with different shift points

Yah i like the new wheels and tires. I liked the old set up too. I think they both looked good on your truck.

 

I don't want to spend the money to re gear this truck. It's really not worth it on this truck in my opinion.

It's a 5 speed.

 

Thanks man. Those DCs were horrible tires so I just wanted to change it up a bit. I like it a lot.
