actually 6in lights will fit great without trimming..i have 2 hella 500s behind my grill..i also got 2 hella 700s as well..but i had to trim a lot but they fit really well now haha. fyi i know the hella 500 can have a HID retrofit... KCs are great, I know Light Force has amazing lights, well known not to be breakable... HIDs are gonna be a lot brighter than halogen by far. have you looked at any LEDs? Ive seen studies (id be willing to find and post em for ya) where the brightness levels go: candles-halogen-HID- LED...a lot of trophy trucks have LED light bars..id get one of these light bars or LED lights personally if i could afford them..plus LEDs will last a loooooootttt longer than hid or halogen...

    just my .02 :)
