    Samething u want to do. But with diff text over the XLT part. But im gonna be doing the 04-08 emblems instead now.

    alright i chopped the pipes off today with a sawsall. made it sound different too. i like it, you can hear it more at idle than you could with the pipes on.

    i got a couple sound clips first one is start up and second one is rev'n it up. i didnt make it very long though, neighbors are old and probably asleep lol. i can try to get another one tomorrow if this one doesnt tickle yall.

    yea im liking it. cutting the tips made the tone deeper.

    should i sand the emblems a little before putting a primer on em?

    Yeah, scuff them up so the primer sticks easier.

    Truck is lookin good, just weld some dumps on there... For my emblems I used a red steel wool pad to scuff em then I sprayed em with high temp low gloss black, no primer. So far so good....
