think i really need to put some turn downs on it? i dont have any steel wool, ive got some light grit sandpaper in the garage. im sure that will work fine. your paint hasnt started to chip or peel off yet without a primer?

I would put turn downs on it because it will direct the exhaust gases away from the truck. I am debating losing a cat too... Come drive to Austin, I'll weld'er up for ya! lol

I'll Talk to chris across the street from me. He's got some laying in his garage. It's the same stuff I used when I cut off my muffler. It's extras he has from the last time he did exhaust work.

And no chipping as of yet. The high heat stuff sticks well.

i dont care where you got anything turned, pointed, etc.. if its by the cab you're still going to get exhaust gasses.

lol thats a bit of a drive!

ive used the VHT on my exhaust, worked pretty well. ill keep it in mind. i was thinking of just getting color matched paint and putting some clear coat on it.

i think the pipe i cut off from my tips might be just long enough to weld back into place lol.
