This is what I made in an afternoon. Cut the exhaust before the kneck down (2.5" to 2.25") so it was 2.5" into a 2 chamber flowmaster then it's 3" out the side with like a 4 or 4.5" tip, it didn't end up as far back as I hoped though. It cost me a total of $0.00 .... It works for now but I want a louder muffler to set off some alarms.
I just cut my muffler off then ran an x-pipe with duals out the back at 45 my buddy had it done before i did i think its one of the best sounding trucks out their like this and it should keep you around your 200 bucks
no no no, dump over the axle and use magnaflow mufflers. i have had flowmaster, borla and magnaflow and the magnaflow owns all of them
uh huh...where did you have it dumped? btw where you have it exit will make a huge difference in sound (follow me on this). if it exits outside of the body it will a sharp insteaneous sound where if you have it dumped you will get a mellower more average sound, will also set off more car alarms this way
Which muffler is on your truck 01f1502wd?? Yea my truck is louder now but I set off more alarms with the dumped 3 chamber flow... Also 4ctNduction, which magnaflow? Is it better as in louder or just more power?
^^ it was right under the extended cab. does magnaflow make a si/do muffler like a flowmaster 10? im tired of my muffler
I have dual borla XR-1's and dylan: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopdisplayproducts_universal.asp
convince me enough and Ill go take it out around the block and get some good clips from the outside haha ill do it after i finish some of my circuit analysis homework.
