Thanks agjake. I'm still in the decision phase, there are a lot of factors in this subject to consider. It may be more wise to get some driving lights to use when I need more visibility.
Just over a year, I also installed them on our other 2 F150s and our Lincoln Town Car. The town car needed the headlights aimed up (previously been in an accident) and the other 2 F150s were aimed perfect already. My truck has been through a few bumps and I still need to reaim them, it shoots my lows hi, and my highs into the sky. So I use my high-beams as lows and my low beams as high, if that makes sense. fwiw, I have 6000k and the other 3 kits were all 5000k.
Hmmm, I do know that the blue-er the light the less bright it will be, but I've never heard of them also having a long throw...
