You can't hear the SC at idle. It sounds just like a regular truck, until you get into boost :jester:

Where are goin to tap into for the oil temp? Would it be the same place for the oil pressure?

well if you can hear it at idle youll be able to hear the fans. i wasnt sure lol

i was told there is a port by the oil filter for the oil temp sensor. i would assume that would be the same place.

Yup that where I got my oil pressure from. I just used a T fitting so I could keep the stock gauge too.

alright guys. got back from Kalahari this afternoon. i had time to wash the truck (first time in a month) and wire my fans up after having the controller for 2 weeks.

if i feel up to it i will do the write up tonight for the fans if i have enough pictures.

with this next check ill be getting some gauges and the gauge pod. oil temp gauge will ahve to wait to be installed until my next oil change.

if i go with a trans temp gauge do i have to drain the tranny? i think that is a yes but just double checking.

ive also go a job im doing for my uncle on sunday for $500 (sealing the joints in his driveway) my boss told me i could do it on my own and collect the money. i should cash out with maybe $300 after materials:waytogo: i might go ahead and try out an under-drive pulley since its only $150, well see though. i gotta do the big 3 upgrade for sure this sunday after im done with the job. ive got both my fans hooked up and my voltage dropped to 12.5 while running...it should be at 14.3 or so.:Grenade:

just telling yall whats up since i aint been on the past week lol work is crazy...

you shouldnt have to drain the trans. only a little will leak out when you take the plug out. there should be a test port on the drivers side. that is where i put in my temp sensor.

that voltage drop sucks. does anyone make a kit for this? what is the recommended gauge to use? 0 AWG wire?

I don't think anyone makes a kit. just use 0 gauge wire.
