    I'm sure it's climate and drive cycle related.

    I don't do much short hop driving in mine so the battery has a chance to fully recharge after most every start.

    My 97 had the factory battery in it when I got rid of it in '05.

    Okay Jake, I'm sorry but, I'm gonna call SHENANIGANS on that :jester:



    I'm sure it does. Unfortunately I do a lot of short trip driving. Not to mention my truck sits a lot too. That takes its toll on a battery more so then driving one. I'm about to invest in a battery minder for my 2002. :waytogo:

    Mine sits a lot but if it's going, more often than not it's going 25+ miles before it gets shut off again.

    They work like a charm. I've got a 2 bank charger+minder on the boat.

    are they pretty much worry free once you hook em up? I don't want to have to fart around with it all the time. :jester:

    My wifes explorers battery lasted 7 years. My truck lasted 8 years.
