Pretty much a mix of both. I drive on the high almost anytime i want to get somewhere with speeds over 60. But i dont drive for a long distance normally about 30-35 min at the most. Other times im driving just locally. And i do both about just as much. AS for what transmission i have no idea. I'll have to go look in the owners manual here in a minute.
i have as much power as i can for the mods i have because my tune is finally near spot on. I might could turn them if I had efans underdrives and longtubes.
Oh my bad, auto. I just dont under stand if your tires are only 2 inches all around bigger than mine and you have a performance tuner with a v8 might be the 4.6 but you still got the extra 2 cylinders and you cant light em up. I guess the tires are just so much heavier maybe.
Rotating mass takes a lot more power to spin than stationary weight though. Usually figure that 1lb of spinning weight is equal to about 7lbs of dead weight. Get the 4.56s, you won't be sorry.
ive also got a crew cab (heavier), over 150lbs of tools in toolbox, 35inch spare, 120pluslb sub and subbox, and usually have 2 or more people riding with me so i have a loooooooooot more weight. Bigun still swears he had no problem turning his 37's on blowcaine with stock gears so you might be alright with 4.56s
well the calculators say im not so i guess im just near it and I hadn been in my truck in 2days so it may be 1800-2000 but i cuda swore it was right at 2k
