I'm thinking about getting reverse lights and brake lights for my truck from DDM tuning. Im wondering if I'll need the load resisters??

I have the HID's from them and there great. Have anyone of you ever used there LED bulbs and did u use the load resisters??

There are the ones I'm thinking about

I was looking at getting those too. I got my HIDs from them also. You won't need resisters for the reverse lights but you are going to need them for the brake lights unless you dont mind the hyper flash.

Did you do one of the plug and play HID kits without changing your housings? I've been thinking about HID as well but I can't stand meeting people that have them that blind oncoming traffic. I didn't know if the stock housings on an F150 were like that or not.

Yeah plug and play no changing of the housing necessary

If you were to change you're blinkers to LED's they would "hyper flash" or blink twice as fast as the original halogen bulb so you'd need a resistor to fix this problem but since you're doing a reverse bulb you'll be fine.

Theres nothing wrong with hid's in stock housings as long as you aim your headlights down a little if not all the way. What i hate is when people in lifted/leveled trucks have hid's without even touching the headlights. I added my level kit and i adjusted my headlights down and i've never been flashed and i've had buddies drive towards me and say it's not bad.

you know when your turn signals out and it flashes fast? its because the bulb out doesnt create enough resistance and it makes the ticker run faster off the power. thus when u put an led in and the bulbs create alot less resistance the clicker flashses faster
