Get rid of the HBS and just get some Bilstein 5100s. New shocks and a lift all at the same time

The Quick Strut is supposidely a better riding assembly versus the Econo-matic

smh........... if it only measures 1 in and wtfe you wont get that out of it maybe an inch a rough country level measures 2.25 in and you get 1 and like a 1/2 or some **** like that .... but fk it lets just throw parts at stuff and not fix nothing .... now granted the struts are prolly wore out but the spring is what gives you your ride height....... but honestly i think it needs new front and rear diffs and the trans might be shot

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
^^^ its the struts and coils. 138K is about 65k more than they should have. most struts are only good for 60k, and the coils are maybe good for 80. another way to test the struts: stand on the bumper, get the truck bouncing pretty good then jump off. the truck should bounce 1 more time after you get off then stop. if it bounces a couple times til it finally stops, its the strut assembly 100%.

hell, i've got 140k on my truck and i just started on my 3rd set of struts (factory got bout 60k, Rancho got 70k).

Incorrect information. Strut spacer levelling kits measure well under the resulting lift. You get as much lift from the geometry change in the front end as you do the spacer.

If a Rough Country measures 2.25" it either doesn't mount the same way or it gives you about 4" of lift.

Depends on how much money etc you want to put into it. If you do Bilsteins, you should also get new springs to go with. If you go the rancho way, you won't get the full lift you want but comes with springs. But I believe you can get the rancho's with out the spring. Correct me if I'm wrong. Like some peeps already said, sounds like the springs are what bad! But what do I know! LOL
