No one is asking SVT to build a supertruck, or another Lightning. Ford just needs to offer a performance truck that's massed produced, nothing like a limited numbered SVT vehicle, more along the lines of how the Mustang is offered. Just add a new trim line, or hell, make the FX2 their performance pickup.

I get it, there's plenty of people out there that love the Raptor. There's also plenty of people out there that'd like to see Ford once again offer a high performance truck that's built to shred the street rather then the desert. I personally have absolutely NO need for a Raptor. I live in Ga, there's no deserts in Ga, and I'm damn sure not taking a 55K truck off in the woods to get beat to hell and back. So all the specifically designed things the Raptor was built for all useless to me. My truck has never been off a paved road, even when it was stock height. :jester:

@Jake: I wasn't aware that they'd went to coils in the rear or the sway bars. I thought the fact this one was an R/T was the reason it was on there. :jester:

The only problem with that theory is I don't care for how the RCSB Fords look currently. It's like the cab is too short.

That's the very reason my dad is looking at the Dodge RCSB. They're honestly the best looking out of the big 3 when it comes to RCSB pickups. I'm by NO means a fan of Dodge or Chrysler, but I calls em like I sees em. :jester:

This is very true, but at the same time, I don't blame a Raptor owner. Hell if I'd take a 55K+ truck and trash the shat out of it. All 95% of Raptors are, are prestige symbols. In other words, "look at me, I bought a 60K pickup that's meant for the desert" :jester:

Maybe up your way, but down here, most of them rarely see off road action.

    Different strokes I suppose.

The number is probably more like 75% that DO use their trucks.

If you think otherwise, you're just assuming. There are a **** Los of raptor runs, raptor roundups, guys with raptors getting together to Offroad etc. all over the country.

Not trying to start an argument but there's nothin I hate more then people assuming things.

The Raptor is mainly a grocery getter around here, driven by women age 40+. Theres a few owned by young guys who actually use them from time to time, but theres a LOT of raptors in this town and very few are actually used as they should be. It's a damn shame...

oh you want a street truck from ford? nahh too busy making MFKIN Raptors and MFKIN ecoboosts and not to mention the MFKIN 600+ hp shelby. what's up dudge

Just because you buy a Raptor doesn't mean you have to dog the hell out of it and offroad everyday lawl that's like saying if you own a diesel you have to use it to haul and pull trailers all the time

I see way more Raptors in country clubs being used as DDs than offroad toys around here.. Actually out of all the Raptors ive seen on the street (not at dealership) only 1 was dirty and ive probably seen atleast 10-20 of em
