I should have known better to not post pictures No glamour shots of this truck lol I guess I could onstage am this picture and spiff it up This is what I usually haul, the skid steer weighs in around 9,500 lbs plus all the mud, I also have a 9,000 lb mini excavator I get a kick out of this one
Welcome. I've got a manual trans in my 6.0 too and you got to really let it wind out even with a load to get it much further past 4000 and you ain't got a whole lot of gear left after that. I don't let mine get over 3500rpms but that's just me.
Me too or a cummins swap Lol I wouldn't have ordered the truck with these gears but it was a steal so I couldn't be picky, of it wasnt a 4x4 I would regear in a heart beat but it's a little more money then I would like to spend I also have an international that I pull the same loads with or anything heavier and two cummins that occasionally see the duty (they do pull it a lot better, the one even has 3:55s, but the weigh atleast a ton less then the 350 to be fair to it) I've had the truck for about a year now and haven't taken it much past 2800 rpm and probably wont be anytime soon lol I just became curious as I was pulling the skid steer yesterday on the parkway, holding steadily at 40 mph in a 55 going up a pretty good grade and I ended up here And another picture for you guys
It only has 27k miles on it and I literally just finished doing an EGR delete, I hope I'm a long long ways away from that point (I guess atleast another 73k miles lol)
I'm being hopeful for 100k trouble free miles I can tell the fuel filtration is slot better then what dodge uses I'm just going through my photobucket looking for any pictures with the 350 in it haha
we got 220k of nice miles out of our 6.0 before it started acting up. it was an auto though so no real help to your question haha
I can only hope! I have other toys to play with so the EGR delete is the only motor mod it's getting hopefully
