My truck keeps struggling to start. Doesnt do it every time but it used to always start perfectly every time. Been doing it for a couple weeks now.

It cranks just fine, just isn't firing. Did it 2 out of 6 starts just today. One of them it cranked for a sec, started to fire and then choked, almost died, then finished firing up.

Battery is a year old, starter only like a month old.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

your welcome man and you will have to run the stuff through in order to take affect, and like i said worst case you will have to pull the plugs and put new ones in and possable wires also

I agree with what Carl is saying. To add to it, check your fuel filter as well. Do you hear the fuel pump turn on when you put the key to the on position before trying to start?

What happens when you put the key to the on position for 10 seconds before trying to start?

it might be a canuter valve .....

but seriously check the fuel filter and it could also be a crank sensor trying to go bad on you

I had thought of fuel filter but it runs good once started so I wasn't too sure. Planning to replace the filter anyway though. I'm sure its over due by now

Sea foam is in the tank...

Gonna change the filter after this tank.

She struggled to start at the station again...fired up but was rough and nearly died, then revved to life.

Had the problem few years back with mine but not so often. One day wouldn't fire up and fuel pump had died which is a normal item to fail on our trucks just like the vacuum elbow...
