alright guys. took the grinder to my welds and did the best i could with it. put some filler on the spots tonight. will probab;y have to wait to sand it till the weekend.

i dont have a clue what im doing lol first time ive done this.

the big gray patch in this pic is some of that clay metal crap i got from my dad a while back if yall remember. worked friggin great. i had a soft spot in the metal right there so i took some of that shiz and molded it on. 30 minutes later it was hard as steel. pretty cool.

    opinion!

should the steps stay off or go back on? or should i get some small steel steps at the front doors only?

if they go back on i will have to fix the mounts underneath. i ripped the **** out of them when i pulled the steps off.

hey guys. sanded down the fiberglass filler today and i filled and sanded the bottom side where the panel is welded to the truck. also got a can of duplicolor bedliner and put a few good coats on. it looks good. just gotta put a little more filler on the top to fill in some holes and then i can PTM the rest of the panel. got pics but im too lazy right now to post em.

i need some help finding a part though. when i welded the panel on i completely forgot about the rear door latch that goes on the rocker panel:jester: its supposed to screw into a plate that was supposed to be welded onto the back of the rocker. i figured the only way for me to put it back on is to weld it on. problem is the damn screws are seized up and theyre torx heads:Grenade: just wanted to see if i could just buy a new latch instead of screwing with this old one.
