03 screw 5.4 L mileage

i have a 03 screw with the 5.4 in her and only get about 10.5 mpg with her i haven't been driving her to hard sense the roads aren't the best anymore here in Iowa, but was wondering if this is normal for the 5.4s cause with my old truck granted it was a 4.6L 2wd i could drive it as hard as i wanted and still out lik 13 or 14 out of it. also my new truck has 3.55s and i do let it warm up in the mornings but not for two long 5-10 minutes

so just wondering what you all get.

 

I used to get 12-15 out of my 03 Scew.....time for a tune up maybe.....

 

i got 15 out of my 01 screw on 35s with my superchip.. that was babying it or full throttle it didnt matter 15 no matter what.

 

i have been wanting to do plugs, coil packs, fuel filter and all the fluids but i wrestle now and don't have time to work on her

holy fawk thats good i got 15 once i hardly touched the gas and shifted into neutral coming to stops and went on a long trips

 

also i have 32 a/t tires

 

that may be part of the problem but I agree with west, it may be timr for a tune-up

 

I got 19 heading down to utah, im on 34s with an edge evo tuner, k&n intake and an exhaust. but normal driving I get around 16

 

lol I think Im gettin around 8 or 9 on these 35's, till the tunes for my programmer come in

 

sounds like i need to make time to tune her up

 

yeah you should see an increase in mpg
