:flipthebird: Not even 8 days old and I got a damn crack in the windshield. This damn illegal mexican trucker decides to change lanes as I am rolling up in my lane already. starts to come over and then swerves back into his lane, lettin a rock fly out his load and BAM! right on my fu<kin winshield!!!!

I already called safelite. They'll be at my house between 1-5 and fixing it free w/ my insurance (statefarm - FYI - SF only fixes windshields w/out premiums in TX and FL).

Damn! I'm glad I have full coverage on mine through the company, 50 bucks for windshield replacements. This happens all the time to us while we are out and about getting materials and sharing the roads with the dump trucks. My dad got dinged by one about the size of a golf ball last year, the indent in the glass itself was about the size of an apple the. It had the "spider webbing" all around. Scared the S ou of us.

Glad you're getting it taken care of, this time of year those things spread quick.

****ty deal, but thats nothin lol.

first day i had my truck, driving it home from the used dealers lot, 30 minutes in and BAM. same thing. huge rock from a semi. huge chip, knocked the glass from the inside of the window right out. by the time i got home i had two cracks. one running the full up and down, and one running across covering about 3/4 of the windshield.

and its still like that to this day.

i bet it know how it went down, * just driving along, CRACK!! along with a few words like MOTHER FUGGER! SON OF A BISCH, then for the remainder of the drive you continue to stare at the crack shaking your head mumbling how you feel about it*

    yeah that's my drill :jester:

    Sounds about right.

I had 5 chips in within 6 months of having a new windshield put in. :banghead: Im up to 6 and a crack now.

That sucks Vano, I'd be super fuggin pissed with that being a brand new truck.

Luckily I've been crack/chip free since the first encounter.

I should take a picture of my parents van lol. Looks like its been shot up. Can literally poke it as the whole think flexes
