Well got my gears installed.

    on my first set of 4:10s i had, there was a howling noise that i could hear when i was next to a wall on the highway...then one day the rear end siezed and i destroyed the gears and the locker. id take it back asap

    Yep pinion nut came lose. Still have a whine 30 mph through 60. It's not very loud so I'm hoping it goes away.

    Dang carl, how'd you figure that one out?

    The whine should go away after break-in, I think you need to change your diff fluid after that also. Not 100% sure though
