Honestly I really like option two if, and if it was on a storm trooped truck, for your truck I'd just stick with stock :peace:

A retro takes a day, max.
Even to get someone else to do it, not expensive.

    Just giving info I have.

    Gonna just do a Retro

I've decided to just get a set of Switchbacks for my turn signal, and to do a Retro fit. Here is what I am going to be retro-ing w/:

Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (D2S)
    — Ballasts: 1) Morimoto 3Five 35w
    — Bulbs: Morimoto 3Five 4300K D2S
    — Halos: Yes, Morimoto CCFL Kit
    — Projectors: LHD (North American Standard)
    — Re-sealing Glue: Yes please
    — Shrouds: G37-R
    — Wire Harness: Relay: H13/9008

Hopefully I can order this by the end of them month and then ATTEMPT to open my headlamps and do all this. I should get a second set and just open them up now, paint, and I'll have em ready to install w/out having to rush to get my truck back together... then just flip the set i didnt change :hmm: mo money mo problems...

I would buy a second set of cheapo ebay ones to practice on. The ebay ones are easier to open since they don't use the Ford goop and you're resealing them anyways.
It'll also allow you to keep the truck on the road in case something goes terribly wrong lol.

Finally, google TRS group buys or promo codes. I know a couple of the f150 forums have done them, but guys also have signed up at hidplanet, tundra, and gmc sites, just to join the group buy and save 20%.

Good choice! I'm about to rip my hids out, I'm sick of the problems.
