Military spliced, soldered, heat-shrinked and wire-loom. Was one worker in upper interior at Choo Choo Customs felt they needed to use half a roll of electrical tape on every high top van TV power cable. Production manager told 'em we don't make wire loom out of black tape.
that's how i've always done electronics .. splice it, twist the wires together and put about 2 foot of tape around it. i did this a little better with actually connectors. i DO NOT want to have to tear those door panels off just to fix a wire haha
you should get a pack of those male/female waterproof crimp-ons. they come in handy when i have to do random electrical jobs

yep. i like the in-line ones but those work too haha. i hate hate hate!! electrical tape so i use those a lot
i just used the "tube" like connectors like in the first pic.. but you can't seperate them once you clamp them
