Truck dying

    Yup....I did my truck last week and it made a big difference...especially this time of year with all the moisture in the air....

    You think with my truck being less than two years old that I might need to change the fuel filter? I'll pick up some seafoam when I get off work on wednesday.

    You'd be surprised at how dirty they tend to get just after every other oil change. The way I look at it is they're fairly cheap, not terribly hard to change and with some of the gas station not ever changing their filters it's added protection for your vehicle. After you remove it bang it on the ground a little and look at the trash and nasty fuel in it.

    I just thought about this. My bros 05 was doing this and it ended up being the map sensor.... I think. it was the sensor in the side of the air box. its like 2 sensors in one. its got 2 torx bits holding it in.

    If you run your truck low on fuel often it will pick up moisture and dirt etc because that stuff is heavier than gas......
