yeah the rust probably thinned the metal out so you push through alot more. how many wire speed settings is there? i'm used to bigger machines having 3 digit WFS lol. try turning it down. you might as well patch up that giant line of rust in the first pic

Wow. Im glad I don't have to deal with rust. I vote buy a new cab. Or buy a cheap crappy and i mean that literally gas saver and just pull off your cab and fix it little by little. That way you can get it all fixed and coat it all with a nice rust preventing paint or bed liner. I think the bottom line is here, salt sucks!

looks like I sold my programmer to a guy in Ohio. had someone on F150forum want it but came short on some cash.

meeting the guy on Wednesday after 5.

wish I had my CPL. I hate meeting people off craigslist. I could open carry.

probably not. that rust looks paper thin and you'd just be making it worst

I thought that's what you were telling me to do lol I didn't think I could do that.

im going to have to cut the carpet or something on the inside of the cab so I don't catch anything on fire.

heres the other question. should I cut it out a little more and patch it just from the outside of the cab and leave the inside alone? should I just cut a piece of sheet metal that lays right over top of it or get a piece that is the right size?
