I rarely get above 70 (speed limit here is 65) and wouldn't mind the extra acceleration. But I'm fine sitting on my 4.10s for a while.

You could get away with a bigger cam with the 4.10s. That'll pickup the slack downlow but when it hit 2k it'll have insane power gains

    :lol2:

    you suck at math :mf_pcwhack:

It's also why I have the bedcover on.

Danny - What cams would you recommend? That might be something I would do at the same time as a blower, get it all tuned up right once.

Best idea yet. Cams might get you 40hp with a good tune and of course you have to look closely at where that power will be in the rpm range. I wouldn't expect any major gains from aftermarket cams over stock in the 2000-4000rpm range. Intake....meh maybe 10hp, and of course headers with a good exhaust system might get 15-20hp. All together you would probably see 60hp.

As far as stress on the motor as mentioned in another post. No cams aren't going to add much stress because they won't add much power :sleepy:
Yes forced induction of any kind will add more stress but you are looking at gains of 140-160rwhp with 8spi. The question is will the motor handle the stress and live a normal life? Answer....yes.

Yea but cams now and then blower later would be wicked if you matched everything perfectly
