I have these new speakers: Amazon.com: Polk Audio DB571 5-by-7-Inch Coaxial Speakers (Pair, Black): Car Electronics those will go in my doors, max input is 180 watts I would like to amp them, so I need a 4 channel amp. What would be good to power it? I got some advice from Tyler, I wanna know what other people think. and what would I need to look for? one that puts out 4 channels of 180W?
ok, Ill think about it. Would it be smart to sell my amp for my subs and get a 5 channel amp? then it could do it all and Id only have one... and mount it under my pass. front seat where I wont have to worry about smashing it when I fold down my seats.
I would check out some helix amps or focal if you want good SQ. The Alpine "V" line up offers good amps for the price, I just hate they are typically all class D's. Rockford Power-series also offers great amps with a 24db/slope and are usually class AB's for most sound quality and less "noise"
Mounting amps behind a supercab 10th generation is nearly impossible, but can be done with lots of work and measurements. Not real sure about the screws. I would figure the screws have a tad bit more room behind them.
