There's a small dealer in town that only deals with trucks. Most of the trucks are heavy duties and superdutys. He gets some cool stuff but it seems like he is always asking a lot more than I would consider payin but I guess thats the same as any other dealer.

Anyway, there's a 98 f150 regular cab up there. He is askin $6000. Think it would be worth it?

Man, if its clean, thats a steal almost for where i live. I gave 7500 for my reg cab with 157k on it at the time. I tihnk you should get anywhere from 500-750 knocked off easily.

Wow, you guys are getting ripped off down there compared to up here. Several years ago I paid $5K for my '97 with 124K. My friend paid $6K for his '97 with 85k miles....

I know. They run these trucks forever around here. You see them everywhere.

From a dealer it'd be an ok deal, but I personally wouldn't pay that much for a reg cab 4x4, especially a 98. I think you could find a newer one ext cab for around 6k private party.

I think its a little high, but if they would come down a little bit it would be a good deal. Looks like a nice clean truck too.

I wouldn't give more than 5k for it, but that's me.

If you could get it down closer to 5K then I'd say go for it if it's what your wanting. Just don't jump at the first truck, patience is a virtue and will pay off

Ive been looking for a long time now to find a nice clean truck. This truck has been at the dealer for over a week now and the salesman says that nobody else has paid much attention to it. The carfax says the last owner had it for 10 years and only drove it 40,000 miles other than that it was owned by family members. Its got a few places where the paint is starting to bubble and it has a big dent inside of the tailgate (not noticeable from the outside) I havent talked price with the guy yet but I plan on it this week.
