Found a guy to fix ALL my rust for 450-600 bucks included all parts and labor. This includes rust on my bed below fx4 sticker, surface rust on bottom bed panel, and both rocker panels. Also talked to a friend about my disappearing oil and smuckish looking coolant... me and him both think its piston rings :/ what do you guys think? I'm losing about a quart or two of oil between oil changes and have been for a while. Also probably have some going into my coolant because it continues to stay brown instead of green but still cools my truck.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
might be head gaskets. this happens to the 6.0 and normally the cause is a bad head gasket.

Could be, but I just did my head gaskets 10k miles ago so I didn't really think about that.

We tightened everything to spec especially the head bolts. I made sure of it, but considering my intake wasn't installed properly it could be the same situation with the heads.... how can I be sure?

Haven't had the overheating problem in a few days but also haven't driven too far. Tried to wire up my other fan using a relay that came with my hellas, well I suck at using relays and it didn't come on. I'm gonna tinker with it again tomorrow...

Sooo tranny blew up today. Was driving really sluggish when I went to get gas, even worse after I got gas. Pulled into the oreillys where my buddy works to check the fluid. Everything looked fine, put it in reverse to leave and nothing happened. Lost reverse. Put it in neutral to push it backwards and it wouldnt roll like it was still in gear. Had my other buddy in his 05 lariat come yank on me backwards so I could drive forward out of my parking spot and over the curb lol Dont know how or why but its facked up. I'm startin to price out some remans or maybe a monster tranny. I'm not a very happy camper right now...
